History of the Movement
“Ammazzateci Tutti” born as an anti-’ndrangheta spontaneous initiative of young people in Locri (RC) in late 2005, after the murder of the Vice-President of the Regional Council of Calabria, Francesco Fortugno.
In the beginning the movement consisted only in young people (mainly high school and university students), in the following months from its establishment it found the support even among the adults, specifically the family members of Ndrangheta victims.
Thanks to the network and internet, soon the movement managed to gather the youth from the whole country. Soon the movement through the network and the Internet has managed to unify youth from all over Italy behind the slogan of “youth against all mafias!” Which has united and still continues to unite the youth into a single cry as a large anti-mafia movement on national scale with the best Italian youth in the fight against the Mafia and in promoting legality; from Sicily, Campania, Lombardy, Lazio, to Puglia, the Veneto, the coordinators of the movement are today established throughout the entire territory of Italy.
